Provide Information to the Board Regarding the Elementary Security Plan Implementation | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On May 6, 2014, during the School Board workshop, the Board asked for a status report on the implementation of the Elementary Security Plan. Below is the current status of components of the plan.
The following equipment has been ordered: radios, firearms, ammunition, holsters, duty belts, hats and lock box keys. The total cost of the equipment is $90,751.19. Security personnel interviews have been conducted and psychological evaluations have been scheduled, but personnel transactions have not been completed for hiring. Security vehicles have not yet been purchased. A new RFP for vehicles is out for bid. As of this date no money has been spent on security officer training or from the Supportive Services budget. |
