| Approve Master Agreement and Statement of Work for Advance Andean Solutions to Provide Enhancements to the Current Hillsborough Choice Options GIS Project (Information and Technology Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| On June 14, 2011, the Board approved contracting with Advanced Andean Solutions as the company with the lowest and best proposal for implementation of Geographic Information System (GIS) Application software. In addition to the use by Hillsborough Choice Options, utilization and demand for GIS data analytics and information by Growth Management and Planning Department continues to grow. Other departments within the district are also showing interest in how using data in a GIS system can help provide data clarity.
To ensure that the services provided by Advanced Andean Solutions are consistent throughout the district, the attached Master Agreement has been established. This Master Agreement is consistent with those used with other IT Services vendors. It helps protect the district and simplifies Statements of Work (SOW) by eliminating the standard terms and conditions from those documents. The attached SOW provides for enhancements to Choice Reports, Choice Marketing Analyzer, Choice Extensions and Geo-Insight as requested by the Office of Student Planning and Placement. These enhancements will provide robust analytics to assist with marketing and the placement of students, and additional and extended functionality for analyzing Choice application pool, including lottery results and offer responses. |
