Approve Disciplinary Action - Instructional Support
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Per recommendation of the Superintendent, the employees listed below are recommended for the following disciplinary action, effective June 11, 2014.  The employees are entitled to due process, which affords them the opportunity to request a grievance hearing after the final School Board action:

  • Willie R. Jones, Jr., ESE Para 2 – Mendez ESE Center:  Suspend Without Pay.  Arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Battery with Deadly Weapon, Shooting at Within or Into a Building – Occupied and Shooting at Within or Into A Building – Unoccupied, felony charges.
  • Theresa J. Robinson, Bus Driver – Transportation:  Termination of Employment.  Allowed her son, who is not an employee of Hillsborough County Public Schools, to drive her assigned school bus.
