| Approve Renewal Contract for Full Service Schools with the State of Florida, Department of Health (Instructional Support Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| This contract renewal is in effect July 1, 2014 - June 30, 2015. Its purpose is to expand school-based health services and increase access to health care in high poverty areas. The Full Service School funds provide direct health related services to schools in our district. This is an annual renewal of flow-through funds from the Hillsborough County Health Department to the school district and has been in effect for over 20 years.
It is the practice of the State of Florida, Department of Health to sign any negotiated contract after it has been approved by the School Board. |

| Funds in the amount of $422,772 are provided by the legislature from general revenue and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) federal dollars in specific line items for Full Service Schools. | |

| Annual reports are submitted to the State of Florida, Department of Health. These reports contain data regarding student, parent, and school district employee encounters. | |
