Approve the Disposal of Two Damaged Vehicles from the Fleet Maintenance Section of the Transportation Department |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Attached is a list of damaged vehicles with photographs to be considered for disposal. We recommend that the vehicles be sold at public auction using the services of Tampa Machinery Auction or GoGov.Com. The vehicles were evaluated and it has been determined that repair costs exceed their current value. Copies of the inspection forms are on file at the Transportation Department and are available upon request. |

The District will receive approximately 90% of the sale price of the vehicles. The auctioneer will retain approximately 10%. Proceeds will be transferred to the vehicle replacement account. |
