EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On July 13, 2013, the Board approved the Scantron Master Agreement for the support and maintenance of Scantron scanners. The scanners allow for data capture for districtwide, schoolwide, and classroom assessments. This extension provides for the continued maintenance of the scanners that are located in schools throughout the district. The scanner maintenance part of the contract is being separated from the main contract to allow greater flexibility in the purchase of hardware and software to support the district. This agreement is valid for a period of one year.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES | |
• Align the performance management system with the district’s priorities • Align financial resources to support the district’s strategic goals • Demonstrate best financial practices
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: No)
This contract places all district Scantron scanners on the same maintenance agreement. The cost for this contract is $88,170. This is a cost savings of $32,195 compared to the 2013-2014 contract. Funds are included in the Assessment and Accountability budget for this expense.
