EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The recommended 2014/2015 Workforce Education Fee Schedule reflects the base tuition and fees for postsecondary technical and adult education programs. The recommended rates are based on state required tuition and allowable fees. The statutory reference related to Workforce fees is Section 1009.22, F.S.
The official required fee memorandum was issued by the Florida Department of Education June 27, 2014, stating that the base tuition rates for 2014/2015 are to be the same as 2013/2014 rates. A technology fee has been added to the Vocational Certificate programs at the rate allowed in statute, and will be used as authorized in statute for technology improvements to benefit the students in those programs. House Bill 851 removed the residency requirement for all Adult General Education students. |
