Approve Revision to Contract for Medicaid Data Management Partnership with the School Board of Seminole County, Florida (SBSC) for the Period August 2014 - June 2015 (Business Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The School Board of Hillsborough County, FL (HCPS) has joined with 53 other Florida school districts to claim Medicaid reimbursement for the fiscal year 2014-2015. HCPS will partner with SBSC, Department of Education, and Agency for Health Care Administration for an additional year.
SBSC provides to the consortium of 54 school districts oversight and guidance to insure compliance and maximum reimbursement with the program. SBSC reviews all form for the correct correlation between the activity described and the coding. At the end of each quarter, SBSC develops all the data necessary for the districts to develop their claims of reimbursement that are to be submitted to the Florida Agency of Health Care Administration. |

SBSC will charge an annual fee of $18,649.81 for the services provided under the School District Administrative Claiming program. Fiscal year 2014-2015 begins the fifth year in which the annual fee has remained unchanged. The program is expected to generate $8,000,000 this fiscal year. | |
