Approve Revisions to the Student Progression Plan, K-Adult for the 2014-2015 Academic Year | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
We request approval of the attached 2014-2015 Student Progression Plan. Section 1008.25 of the Florida Statutes requires each school district to establish a comprehensive program for student progression that includes standards for evaluating how well each student masters the Florida Standards.
To ensure alignment with the 2014-2015 State Student Progression Plan, some elements have been added or modified within our district to comply with Florida Statutes, as well as district procedural changes for elementary, middle, and high school; career, technical, and adult education; exceptional student education; and English language learners. We anticipate additional revisions to our plan and will bring them forward as soon as clarification from the Florida Department of Education is provided. Revisions are summarized on the attachment. |
