Approve the Agreement Between The School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida and Catapult Learning, LLC Through the 2016/2017 School Year (Division of Student Services) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
We request approval of an agreement with Catapult Learning, LLC to provide academic services, leading to a high school diploma, to students who are below the age of 21 years, residents of Hillsborough County, and are not high school graduates. Catapult Learning will offer services through a blended education model providing five hours of instructional time per day. Exceptional Student Education (ESE) and English Language Learner (ELL) services are available and the district’s calendar will be followed. Catapult Learning will be responsible for the acquisition and outfitting of facilities. The district will work cooperatively with Catapult Learning in the identification of students that may be candidates for the program. | |

Catapult Learning, LLC will receive 90 percent of FTE funds generated by validated enrolled students. | |

Quarterly reviews by district staff with a final evaluation provided annually. | |
