Recognition of Magnet Schools of America, Merit Award Winners | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On May 16, 2014, 16 magnet schools received Merit School Awards in 2 categories at the Magnet Schools of America (MSA) 32nd National Conference in Hartford, Connecticut. MSA awards Magnet Schools of Excellence and Magnet Schools of Distinction, based on "commitment to high academic standards, curriculum innovation, successful desegregation/diversity efforts, and the consistent delivery of quality services to all school stakeholders." In addition, one of our schools is the winner of the New and Emerging School of Merit. Hillsborough County Public Schools have been recognized more than 135 times by the Magnet Schools of America organization. | |
