Approve Subagreement with the Florida Education Fund for Services Associated in their Partnership with Hillsborough County Public Schools Federal Teacher Incentive Fund (TIF) Grant, Project Number S374A100017-10A (Administration Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS), through funding from the Teacher Incentive Fund Grant, will partner with the Florida Education Fund to provide expert leadership training to assist school administrators in developing the skills necessary to become effective leaders at high-need, high-poverty schools.  Principals and leadership teams from ten high-need schools will participate in a year-long training program designed to improve student outcomes in their schools.  A description of the leadership training is found in "Attachment A - Scope of Work" of the attached subagreement.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funding for this project is provided by the United States Department of Education (USDOE) in the amount of $76,139.  HCPS is the grant's fiscal agent and project funds reside with the district.
EVALUATION
Under the terms of the grant, an external evaluator, contracted by HCPS, will evaluate the project, providing annual reports to HCPS and the USDOE.  Copies of the annual report and the final evaluation report will be provided to HCPS, Office of Assessment and Accountability.  The anticipated date for the annual report for year five is December 31, 2015.
