i-Ready and Ready are supplemental materials that provide a blended model of print materials and technology-delivered literacy assessment and instruction.  The materials will be implemented in the 24 elementary extended reading time sites which are identified by the Florida Department of Education as being in the 300 lowest performing Florida elementary schools.  The i-Ready program provides individualized adaptive online diagnostic assessment, progress-monitoring assessments, and automated differentiated online instruction.  The program creates individualized instructional plans utilizing the Ready print materials.  All materials in the blended model are aligned to the elementary Language Arts Florida Standards (LAFS).  Each of the 24 sites will receive for students in grades K-5 the i-Ready Diagnostic and Instruction for Reading site licenses and the Ready Language Arts Florida Standards book.  Every grade K-5 i-Ready/Ready teacher will receive a teacher resource book and individual access to the Tools for Instruction website that includes additional lessons aligned to the Language Arts Florida Standards.  Professional development will include a school leadership kickoff session, onsite initial training sessions, onsite data/decision making training sessions, and onsite coaching and mentoring sessions every three to five weeks throughout the school year.  The following elementary schools will be participating:  Bryan, P.C., B.
