Approve the Piggyback Between Kelly Services, Inc. and Duval County Public Schools Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) #16-14/TW Substitute Employment Services for Paraprofessional Employees (Human Resources Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On April 29, 2014, the Board approved Kelly Services, Inc. to recruit, interview, select, hire, train, and assign employees to provide education related services. Under this agreement, Kelly Services, Inc. will provide like-services to fulfill the district’s need of substitutes for paraprofessional employees. The initial term of this contract is in effect through June 30, 2015, with four one-year renewal periods. This contract may be renewed by the Superintendent, per the terms of the specifications. In accordance with the Florida Department of Education Purchasing Policy 6A-1.012(6), in lieu of requesting competitive solicitations from three or more sources, district school boards may make purchases at or below the specified prices from contracts awarded by other city or county governmental agencies, other school boards, etc. |
