Approve the Purchase of Quoted Law Enforcement Professional Liability Policy | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Hillsborough County Public Schools purchases Professional Liability Insurance coverage for Law Enforcement personnel yearly and will renew on November 23, 2014. The coverage limits will remain at $500,000 each occurrence and $1,000,000 aggregate. The deductible remains at $250,000 per occurrence. The renewal premium will be $89,364.83 including all Federal/State mandated fees. This is approximately a $12,000 (15%) increase from the expiring coverage due to the increase of Law Enforcement personnel from 117 to 137. Attachment A contains the proposal from the District's broker, First Florida Insurance Brokers. | |
