Employees and retirees making no changes will have their 2014 elections roll over to 2015.  Flexible Spending Accounts are the only exception and must be re-elected each year.  Additionally, there will be a short correction window beginning on Monday, November 3, 2014, at 8:00 a.m. and ending Friday, November 7, 2014, at 11:59 p.m. This will be the final opportunity for employees and retirees to make changes to their 2015 benefit elections. Employees can make changes during this correction window by calling Aon at 1 (866) 522-9133 or going online to the enrollment site at www.sdhc.selfservicenow.com .

Employees’ health insurance rates will increase for the first time in four years.  Employees who have enrolled for 2015 should verify their 2015 rates to be sure they have enrolled in the most beneficial and cost-effective health plan.

Humana members should read the information about the Humana Vitality Program included in their enrollment materials.  In 2015, the district has an opportunity to earn up to $4,500,000 as a performance bonus, if 35% of its employees and retirees achieve Vitality Silver Status by September 1, 2015.  In addition, the Vitality participants can earn Vitality bucks to use online at Macy’s, Amazon, Target, Apple, iTunes, Trek, Movie Admissions, and many other sites.
