Approve Agreement for Technical Services with New Reach Associates, LLC to Support the 2014/2015 Instructional Leadership Teams (Curriculum and Instruction Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
We are requesting approval of the Agreement for Technical Services with New Reach Associates, LLC to provide consulting services both in-person and via virtual or remote means to support the 2014/2015 implementation of Instructional Leadership Teams at 13 model school sites. New Reach Associates, LLC will also provide professional development to all principals in anticipation of having Instructional Leadership Teams fully operational at all school sites for the 2015/2016 school year.
Dr. Lee Kappes, principal consultant, will co-facilitate the development of five area small group principal professional development sessions focused on the process of developing and implementing Instructional Leadership Teams at all school sites. Dr. Lee Kappes will lead small and large group professional development sessions and a summer institute focused on the monitoring of effective implementation of Florida Standards focused instruction. |

Funds in the amount of $13,720 for 2014/2015 will be available from district Instructional Leadership and Faculty Development Grant funds, Project 2706. | |
EVALUATION | |
Implementation effectiveness data will be collected through surveys, observations, school-level teacher evaluation data, Instructional Leadership Team and Professional Learning Community agendas, and Instructional Leadership Team alignment with Professional Learning Community site goals. Florida Standards Assessment and School Improvement Plan evaluation markers, including formative and interim assessment data, will be used to evaluate the effectiveness of the Instructional Leadership Team impact at the 13 model school sites. | |
