| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| This piggyback will provide districtwide purchasing resources for instructional supplies, teaching aids, and materials for the following vendors: Attainment Company, Beckers School Supplies, and Wenger Corporation.
The initial term of the Hernando County School District contract is from July 1, 2014, through June 30, 2017. If this purchase is approved, Hillsborough County Public Schools will commence its use effective December 10, 2014. In accordance with the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE), Purchasing Policy 6A-1.012(6), in lieu of requesting competitive solicitations from three or more sources, district school boards may make purchases at or below the specified prices from contracts awarded by other city or county governmental agencies, or other district school boards. This contract may be renewed by the Superintendent, per the terms of the specifications. |
