Approve the Agreement for Technical Services with Prismatic Services, Inc. (Tatia Prieto) for the Evaluation of the Learning for Life Continuation Grant Project (Information and Technology Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Learning for Life is a program for the support, enhancement, and improvement of student performance levels targeting at-risk, low performing students.  The grant is intended to assist schools in school wide improvement of overall student achievement, positive student behaviors, student attendance rates, retention rates, engagement and social development, and longitudinally increase graduation rates and decrease dropout rates. Participating schools include: Apollo Beach, Ballast Point, Bing, BT Washington, Cahoon, Chiaramonte, Citrus Park, Collins, Egypt Lake, Folsom, Forest Hills, Gibsonton, Grady, Hammond, Hunter's Green, Kenly, Kingswood, Maniscalco, Miles, MOSI, Northwest, Oak Park, Shore, Sulphur Springs, Summerfield Crossing, Woodbridge, and Yates Elementary Schools. 

The Provider, Prismatic Services, Inc. will perform continuation of the evaluation services as a third party project evaluator for the grant for the School District of Hillsborough County. Tatia Prieto of Prismatic Services, Inc. has performed an annual evaluation of the program during the previous project year. The grant evaluation activities include data analysis and data-driven reporting, quarterly reports, and the development of a comprehensive program evaluation report for the 2014-2015 program year.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Of the $214,313.00 awarded to the district for the implementation of the Learning for Life project, $9,640.00 of the grant has been allocated for the external evaluation portion.
EVALUATION
A final evaluation report will be submitted to the district.
