Approve Acceptance of Project for Roof Replacement at Young Middle School

A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provided for replacement of the roof at Young Middle School.  The scope of work included removal and replacement of the existing roof on most of the campus.

District staff selected Weber & Tinnen, P.A. from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services.  On February 25, 2014, the Board awarded a contract for construction to Roof USA.

The design professional has certified that the work is complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board Acceptance.

This item is included in the District Capital Outlay:  Local Millage.
