Adoption of Proclamation – Student Services Week, March 23-27, 2015 (Student Services Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Each year the Florida Department of Education declares a week, “Student Services Week.” Locally, this week will be celebrated March 23-27, 2015. During the month of March, local principals and school district personnel recognize the positive work of these staff members, which strengthens student learning and family/community involvement. The board acknowledges the important role that health personnel, psychologists, social workers, counselors, facilitators, attendance support personnel, and student success coaches play in the academic, behavioral, social physical, mental, and emotional development of all students.  Students and families are safer, healthier, happier, and ready to learn because of these professionals’ expertise and persistence working within a multi-tiered system of supports.

• Increase promotion rates at all grade levels and the percentage of high school graduates
