SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Agreement for Technical Services with the New Teacher Center (NTC) and Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) Allowing Continued Administration of the TELL Survey Through the 2018/2019 School Year (Information and Technology Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The Teaching, Empowering, Leading, and Learning (TELL) survey is an anonymous districtwide survey of licensed school-based educators. TELL was first administered by the district in spring 2013 as part of a collaboration between the NTC and the district in support of the US Department of Education’s Supporting Effective Educator Development (SEED) grant.
The district administered the TELL survey in 2012/2013 and 2013/2014, and will administer again in 2014/2015. Our continued participation in this survey provides continuity in the trend data that have been captured to date. Furthermore, the survey is a valid and reliable instrument that has been effective in helping schools improve climate and conditions. |
