Approve Acceptance of Project for Roof Replacement at Cannella Elementary School
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provided for replacement of the roof at Cannella Elementary School.  The scope of work included removal and replacement of the existing roof.  District staff selected Roof Engineering Associates, Inc. from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services.  On November 19, 2013, the Board awarded a contract for construction to Roof USA (FL) LLC.

The design professional has certified that the work is complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board Acceptance.

• Construct and maintain facilities that create an environment conducive to teaching and learning
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)

This item is included in the District Capital Outlay:  Local Millage.
