Approve Design Development for Modular Addition (Administration Offices) at Transportation |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Several Transportation Department activities are housed in obsolete and non-economically repairable portable facilities at the Harney Road location. A new modular administrative facility is planned to replace the obsolete facilities and improve Department operations. Due to the long lead time for delivery of the modular buildings, approval to acquire the modular buildings in advance of guaranteed maximum price (GMP) approval is also requested. Project completion for the modular addition is scheduled for August 2015. |

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes) | |
Construction budget is $2,300,000, which includes approximately $970,000 for the modular building component. Costs for this project shall be funded by District Capital Outlay: Local Millage. |
