SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS | |
Approve Developers Agreement for Donation of Public Water Distribution Facilities to the City of Tampa at Coleman Middle School |
|
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
As part of the HVAC update and modification at Coleman Middle School, the School Board is required to install public water distribution facilities for a fire line at the school's western boundary in the City of Tampa's service area along Manhattan Street. The plans for the fire line were submitted to the City of Tampa's Water Department and approved. The Developers Agreement (attached as "Exhibit A") requires the School Board to donate these facilities to the City and the City will assume ownership, maintenance, and operation. The School Board will guarantee the facilities against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of thirteen (13) months. It is the practice of the City of Tampa to sign their standard Developers Agreement after it has been approved and executed by the donating party. |
