Recognition of World Languages State Competition Winners for 2015 (Curriculum and Instruction Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The importance and advantages of learning a world language are continuing to increase daily. Learning a world language opens the door to other cultures and helps students to become more competitive in the global marketplace. It also teaches tolerance, understanding, and cultural awareness.
Students studying Spanish recently competed in a statewide competition that included poetry, recitations, impromptu speeches, and dialogues against other districts throughout the state. The 2015 World Languages State Competition Winner is Tampa Bay Technical High School who placed first. |
