| Approve the Master Service Agreement and Statement of Work with Asponte Technology, Inc. for WebSphere Portal Services (Information and Technology Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| Approval of this request will extend the services approved by the School Board on October 28, 2014. This Master Service Agreement and Statement of Work is necessary to continue receiving the services and expertise of Asponte Technology, Inc. to work alongside our Information and Technology staff in order to insure the sustainment of the Education Connection Portal (EdConnect). EdConnect is the main gateway for accessibility by schools and district staff to online systems.
Consultants from Asponte Technology, Inc. will provide system administration and tuning tasks, review the work of district staff, and architect the future state of the Education Connection infrastructure. The work by Asponte Technology, to date, has been very valuable in enhancing the Education Connection Infrastructure. |

| Funds are not to exceed $171,900 for the period beginning April 22, 2015, through September 30, 2015. Funding is provided by the Teacher Incentive Funds grant. Asponte Technology provides their services on a time and materials basis with no additional travel or per diem charges or expenses to the district. | |
| EVALUATION | |
| Information Services staff will evaluate the consulting agreement with Asponte Technology, Inc. based on the accuracy and timeliness of the deliverables as outlined in the Statement of Work. District staff monitors and reviews Asponte Technology, Inc. performance through status reports and discussions during weekly status meetings and project plan reviews. | |
