Approve the Piggyback of RFP No. 13/14-8, Various Equipment and Amenities for Parks and Playgrounds Between Clay County and Musco Sports Lighting, LLC for Field Lighting Replacements |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
To satisfy requirements for field lighting replacements, staff proposes to piggyback Clay County RFP No. 13/14-8 with Musco Sports Lighting, LLC through expiration of the agreement on February 18, 2017 (Attachment A). Musco's agreement with Clay County includes an option for two additional one-year renewals. The Superintendent is authorized to approve extensions of the District's use of the agreement through the term of any renewals executed by Clay County. |

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes) | |
Field lighting replacements are typically funded by District Capital Outlay: Local Millage. Costs vary by type of field and specific site conditions. The initial requirement anticipated to be completed using this authority provides for replacement of both the softball and baseball field lighting at Plant High School, at a discounted cost of $372,500. |
