| Accept the Statement of Work with Global Visse, Inc. for Supplemental Staffing Services (Information and Technology Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| On December 11, 2013, the Procurement Department, in conjunction with the Information and Technology (IT) Division, issued a Request for Qualification (RFQ) 13073-DST IT Supplemental Staffing. The RFQ identified qualified providers who are able to supply temporary staffing for the district’s IT Division on an as-needed basis. Based on the current need for services and the availability of Teacher Incentive Fund (TIF) grant funding to spend on those services, the Procurement Department, on behalf of the IT Division, used the RFQ results and Vendor Bid to submit a request for two DB2 Database Administrators.
There were 14 providers that responded with 33 applicants for the DB2 Database Administrator position. Considering price, experience, preference for US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency, and contractors registered with the Office of Supplier Diversity (OSD), we selected one applicant from Global Visse, Inc. as one of the best qualified for one of the two DB2 Database Administrator positions. Global Visse, Inc. is a registered vendor with OSD. The contracted engagement will end by September 30, 2015, when the allotted TIF funding expires. |

| This agreement represents an amount not to exceed $96,000. It is a time and materials arrangement where the district will only pay for the hours of service provided. There are no additional fees for travel or per diem expenses. TIF funds are included in the Information and Technology Division budget for this expense. | |
| EVALUATION | |
| The IT Division will oversee and monitor the conduct of these services and has the option to terminate the agreement at any time. | |
