Approve Cooperative Agreement with the Agency for Community Treatment Services (ACTS), Inc. (Student Services Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
ACTS provides an array of services for dependent and delinquent youth. The School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida provides a portable, a dropout prevention teacher, and a teacher’s aide to deliver educational services to approximately 20 students in the ACTS residential drug treatment program for youth who are assigned by the courts. ACTS provides an appropriate site for the program and support personnel. | |

The program is supported by FTE funds in the amount of approximately $106,475. This item is included in the Part 1 budget for 2015/2016. | |
EVALUATION | |
This program is evaluated annually by Youth Services department staff based on a model developed by the Juvenile Justice Educational Enhancement Program (JJEEP). A review will be completed by June 30, 2016. | |
