Approve to Submit Grant Application to the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) and, if Approved, Accept Funds for the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Part B, Entitlement and Preschool 2015/2016 (Student Services Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Approval of this grant application will ensure that all students with disabilities, ages 3 through 21, have access to a free appropriate public education (FAPE) designed to meet their individual needs and prepare them for employment and independent living. These funds will be used to supplement costs directly attributable to programs that provide FAPE to students with disabilities. Students with disabilities will be provided full educational opportunities through instructional activities designed to increase the level, intensity, and quality of services necessary for each individual student. Federal entitlement grants for IDEA must be submitted annually.
