| Recognition of Students with Perfect Attendance K-12 and the Support of Suncoast Credit Union and Toyota of Tampa Bay for Attendance Alliance with Hillsborough County Public Schools (Student Services Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Research has shown that school attendance is the foundation of student achievement. Fifteen years ago, in an effort to encourage school attendance, former Deputy Superintendent Beth Shields initiated an annual attendance program to recognize students who have maintained perfect attendance from kindergarten through grade 12. This year, two local businesses, Toyota of Tampa Bay and Suncoast Credit Union, join with Hillsborough County Public Schools to recognize 9 students who have achieved 13 years of perfect attendance. Those students are:
The district would also like to thank and recognize our community partners, Suncoast Credit Union and Toyota of Tampa Bay, for their support of our students with exemplary attendance. |
