Approve Construction Documents and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for Transportation Administration Facility at Harney Road |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Administrative office space is required at the Transportation Department complex at Harney Road to improve Department operations and provide space for activities currently housed in obsolete portables. District staff appointed Long & Associates Architects/Engineers, Inc. and Halfacre Construction Company from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services for a new administrative annex. The project scope includes demolition of six portable buildings; construction of a 9,400 square foot permanent administrative building; and correction of existing stormwater retention issues at the site. Approval of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) will establish the cost for the project. Project completion is scheduled for November 2015. |
