EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The Student Handbook is distributed to parents and students at the beginning of the school year as a reference to district and school procedures. It is also available on the district website throughout the school year. Many topics are covered in order to inform parents and students of their rights and responsibilities at school. | |
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES | |
• Increase promotion rates at all grade levels and the percentage of high school graduates • Demonstrate consistent and effective teaching methods • Motivate students to become responsible learners • Challenge and support all students with an appropriate curriculum • Promote a culture of safety, which is free from harassment, bullying, and aggression • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety including students, employees, visitors, facilities, transportation, and health • Construct and maintain facilities that create an environment conducive to teaching and learning | |
