Approve the Rental of Event Rooms and Catering Services from the Sheraton Tampa East Hotel to Facilitate Training of School-Based Administrators and Teachers in the Elevating and Celebrating Effective Teachers and Teaching (ECET2) Initiative (Academic Support and Federal Programs Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The ECET2 initiative provides Hillsborough County Public Schools the opportunity to host local ECET2 events for our schools focusing on shared leadership at the school level. Teams of administrators and teachers from each school will participate in training breakout sessions on topics such as Building Morale, The Multiplier Effect, Powerful Professional Learning Communities, and Learning in the 21st Century. The events are planned by teachers for teachers. The training for these educators is scheduled October 15, 2015, November 12, 2015, and January 29, 2016, at the Sheraton Tampa East Hotel. | |
