| Approve Agreement for Technical Services with RMC Research Corporation for the Evaluation of the Title X, Part C: Education for Homeless Children and Youth Project (Information and Technology Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| This agreement is required to meet the evaluation requirements of the Title X, Part C: Education for Homeless Children and Youth Project grant. RMC Research Services was selected to serve as a third party project evaluator based on responses to the Request for Proposal (RFP) 11143-DST Program Evaluation Services. The RFP process provides an opportunity for all interested evaluators to apply as potential Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) program evaluation providers.
The purpose of Title X, Part C: Education for Homeless Children and Youth Project is to provide additional support for homeless children and youth in order to ensure equal access to the same free, appropriate education, including preschool education, as provided to other children and youth. Grant evaluation services include the following: data analyses and a comprehensive Annual Performance Report evaluation in compliance with funding agency requirements. | The cost is not to exceed $10,000 for this external evaluation. Funding is provided from the Title 1 grant project 3057 allocated for Title X, Part C: Education for Homeless Children and Youth Project evaluation. The total annual funding for Title X, Part C is $125,000. | |
