Approve Revised Reciprocal Agreement for Use of Facilities Between the Bob Sierra Family YMCA and the School Board of Hillsborough County at Gaither High School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Since 2010, Gaither High School and the Bob Sierra Family YMCA have been using certain areas of each respective property for the students and for the YMCA's youth programs.  Under the revised agreement, the YMCA would be using Gaither's gym for their youth basketball league, not volleyball, and Gaither would be using the YMCA's Fitness Center Aquatics Area, including the swimming pool, locker room and showers.  Gaither's Severe and Profound Mentally Handicap Program (SPMH) will no longer be using the YMCA's facilities.

The term of this agreement will commence upon execution by both parties and shall automatically renew for one (1) year terms in perpetuity with the right of termination with a written 90 day notice to the other party.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  No)

This Agreement is mutually beneficial to both parties and any costs are off-setting.
