Division representatives have reviewed current laws and policies to come to a consensus as to policy language. Revisions were provided to and discussed by the School Board at the September 1, 2015 workshop. The policies attached reflect the work completed during this meeting.

Upon approval and after proper advertisement, the Board will be requested to formally approve these policies. The Superintendent recommends approval of these policies and publication of the Board’s notice of intent to adopt these policies.

The Notice of Rulemaking is expected to be listed in the Florida Sentinel Bulletin, La Gaceta, The Tampa Tribune, and Tampa Bay Times. Any person who wishes to present argument or evidence must submit a written request to the Superintendent within 21 days of posted notice.
