EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Annually the Governor of the State of Florida proclaims November as “Florida Parental Involvement in Education Month.” Hillsborough County Council Parent Teacher Association/Parent Teacher Student Association (PTA/PTSA) is recognized as the largest child advocacy organization in Florida with over 170 active PTA/PTSA units and approximately 40,000 members. During the month of November, as well as throughout the school year, the district hosts several events to promote increased parental engagement which include; Parent University Sessions, the Great American Teach-In, and the National PTA Art Reflections program. | |
