Approve Construction Documents and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for a Classroom Addition at Sulphur Springs K-8 Community School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The previously approved conversion of the Sulphur Springs facility to a K-8 school requires additional classrooms to support new requirements for grades six through eight. On April 21, 2015, the Board appointed Rowe Architects Incorporated and Pinnacle/CSG, Inc. to provide design and construction management services. The project scope adds 12 classrooms, including two science labs, a computer lab, and a multipurpose room accommodating art, music and orchestra requirements. |

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: No) | |
Funds in the amount of $7,753,000.00 will be available in the Local Millage fund. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 8594. As of Thursday, December 3, 2015, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $7,220,082.02. The Guaranteed Maximum Price recommended for approval is $5,892,096. | |
