EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The American School Counselor Association highlights the tremendous impact school counselors have in preparing students for life by proclaiming the first of February through the fifth of February, 2016 as National School Counseling Week. The theme this year is "School Counseling: The Recipe for Success." During the month of February, principals and school district personnel will recognize the positive work of school counselors who strengthen student learning and family/community involvement. With the adoption of this proclamation, the School Board acknowledges the important role school, college and career counselors play in the academic and social/emotional development of students in our district. |
