SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Agreement for Technical Services with the Hill and Knowlton Strategies (HK Strategies) (Leadership Development)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
HK Strategies has partnered with Hillsborough County Public Schools during the first four years of the Principal Pipeline Initiative. They supported the ongoing development and implementation of communication strategies to include brochures, newsletters, messaging, website assessment, infographics, power point templates, photo libraries, and more. In phase five of the grant, they will work with Leadership Development staff to update communications messaging to include advancements made since the inception of the work. They will also update all current communications materials, design new infographics to support different programs components, and support visibility of the Hillsborough Principal Pipeline in the business community and the broader educational community with the goal of seeking financial and in-kind support for the continuation and enhancement of all principal pipeline components.

• Provide for a district-wide succession planning structure and visible career ladder
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funding for this project is provided by year five of the Wallace Principal Pipeline Initiative Grant in the amount of $65,000. The total amount of the grant is $1,476,292.
EVALUATION
The evaluation of this project will consist of the following: Feedback from internal and external audiences regarding pipeline communications; Feedback from the Wallace evaluators.
