| Accept the Lowest Responsive, Responsible Bid Submitted by Tucker/Hall – Request for Proposal (RFP) #16002-DST Strategic Communication Planning Consultant (Business Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| On January 12, 2016, the Procurement Department, in conjunction with the Office of Communication, issued an RFP to establish qualified firms to develop and provide a comprehensive strategic communication plan that aligns with Hillsborough County Public Schools existing strategic plan. A total of eight proposers responded and a committee of district personnel recommended the top-ranked firm, Tucker/Hall, for our strategic communication planning services.
The initial term of this contract will be for a one-year period, with four one-year renewals, subject to negotiations and mutual agreement. The Superintendent is authorized to approve any renewal agreements, per the terms of the specifications. |

| Funds in the amount of $30,000.00 will be available in the Office of Communication budget. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 4495. As of Wednesday, February 10, 2016, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $30,000.00. | |
| EVALUATION | |
| Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and Procurement Officer, who function as a team. Reviews are performed annually or by utilizing an online vendor performance report. Prior to soliciting a new contract, the Contract Administration team must first give consideration to the specifications and supporting data of the expiring contract. | |
