EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The primary emphasis of the placement for a student with disabilities by a state agency is for a comprehensive assessment and the development of effective behavior management strategies and habitation needs. The state agency pays the habitat and noneducational portion of the placement.
Each student's resident district is responsible for the assurance of provision for FAPE and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) services for the duration of the student's residential placement. The district will pay Carlton Palms Educational Center, Inc. the full-time equivalent (FTE) it generates for each student. The FTE generated for the 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 school years will be calculated based on the base student allocation for the district and the matrix of services that are developed for each student. |
