| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provides for replacement of the roof and selected HVAC RTU at Palm River Elementary School. District staff selected Carruthers & Associates - Architects, PA from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. The project scope includes structural repairs to roof framing and replacement of a portion of canopy, in addition to the roof and RTU replacement. |

Funds in the amount of $915,626.10 will be available in the Local Millage fund. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 8100 and 8138. As of Thursday, March 24, 2016, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $857,569.28.
The contract amount recommended for award is $835,547. |
