EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The importance and advantages of learning a world language is continuing to increase daily. Apart from being able to converse with people in their own language, it also teaches tolerance, understanding, and cultural awareness. Learning a world language opens the door to other cultures and helps students become more competitive in the global marketplace. Students studying Spanish recently competed in a statewide competition that included poetry, recitation, and skits against other districts throughout the state. We are proud to recognize the following students from Tampa Bay Technical High School who placed first in the 2016 World Languages Spanish State Competition:
