| Recognition of the 2016 Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful (KTBB) Annual Partnership Award (Curriculum and Instruction Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| Each year Hillsborough County and KTBB recognize an outstanding partner in the area of support for educational programming both in and out of school. Award recipients must demonstrate the following: 1) foster collaboration of staff between KTBB and the recipient’s organization; 2) provide access for school-aged children to participate in multiple KTBB activities; and 3) develop new, innovative programs for school-aged children co-developed by KTBB, associated partners, and the recipient’s organization.
This year’s award recipient was Larry R. Plank, Ed.S., Director of K-12 Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics Education for Hillsborough County Public Schools for his long-standing work to improve environmental awareness, engagement, and stewardship amongst thousands of students from Hillsborough County Public Schools through a variety of programming. |
