EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
In response to a request from Superintendent Jeff Eakins, the Council of the Great City Schools (CGCS) assembled a Strategic Support Team to provide a high-level review of the school district's transportation program. Attached are the Council's findings and recommendations designed to help improve the operational efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability of Hillsborough County Public Schools' transportation program. |

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES | |
• Recruit, develop, and retain a highly effective, diverse workforce • Align the performance management system with the district's priorities • Provide for a district-wide succession planning structure and visible career ladder • Align financial resources to support the district's strategic goals • Demonstrate best financial practices • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety including students, employees, visitors, facilities, transportation, and health | |
