| Approve the Memorandum of Agreement with Peachjar, Inc. to Implement a Flyer Approval and Delivery System. (Communications) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| Peachjar, Inc. (Peachjar) is a management system that allows electronic distribution of all district approved flyers. Unlimited use of Peachjar will be provided at no cost to district staff, school staff, and authorized parent groups (i.e. Parent Teacher Association) as an additional communication resource. This system integrates with Blackboard ParentLink.
Peachjar will streamline our current approval and distribution process increasing effectiveness of flyer communication to parents, schools and community partners. District approval of school-related electronic flyers will be accessible in the following ways:
Schools will continue to provide paper flyer communication and use the community resource notebook. |

| Peachjar, Inc. shares data with schools and outside organizations on flyer views, delivery, and the average amount of paper saved. Comparable data from like districts have shown an increase in parental involvement with implementation of an electronic flyer system. Outside organizations show significant drops in costs (i.e. time, use of vehicle (gas) and printer fees.) | |
