Approve Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hillsborough Community College (HCC) for Career Pathways Initiatives | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
We request approval of the MOU with HCC to receive $15,000 of Carl D. Perkins funding which is designated for programs that educate high school students, teachers, and counselors on the technical programs offered by HCC. The funds will be used for instructor stipends, student/staff transportation, and supplies. | |

Hillsborough Community College will provide $15,000 from the Carl D. Perkins Grant to the district to support these activities. | |
EVALUATION | |
In 2015/2016, over 400 high school students attended the HCC Career Quest. This agreement will be evaluated by the Department of Career and Technical Education based on the number of students who participate in the career pathways programs. | |
